Welcome to the home of Benruadh Beagles. We are a small show kennel of Beagles and working Border Terriers located in Southern Argyll, Scotland.
Our kennel name Benruadh comes from ‘Beinn Ruadh’ a mountain located near to Loch Eck just north of our nearest town Dunoon. ‘Beinn Ruadh’ translates from Gaelic to ‘Hill of Deer’ or ‘Deer Hill’. We feel this name encompasses where we live and some of our pursuits.
Between myself and Stewart we have owned and shown Beagles since 2006. I had always wanted a dog and when I was finally in a position to have one I chose beagles for their ‘happy little hound’ personalities, endless fun, enthusiasm and loving nature.
